5 Stars Wonderful product!
I was looking to supplement my breastmilk, but was having a horrible time finding something that worked. I tried at least 8 different formula’s including the new Alimentum, but this was the only formula that my son could tolerate physically and still tasted good to him. You can buy this formula for cheaper at Walmart for $23/can.
5 Stars Sanity Saver!
Like the previous reviewer, I was looking for a formula supplement and this was the only brand my child would tolerate. He couldn’t digest any milk-based formula, any lactose-free, or any other brand of soy (name brand or generic). After trying half a dozen other formulas, we’re devoted to Nestle soy. I also second the Walmart recommendation for savings. Haven’t found it cheaper anywhere else.
5 Stars the best by far
after my daughter was born she was put on the similac advantage. she did okay for a week and then had violent gas pains. we swithed to the lactose free of the same brand and she was ok for a week and then the same problem again. then we switched to similac isomil soy and she was better but was getting horribly constipated. finally, we switched to goodstart soy and she is a different baby. she NEVER has any gas pains and poops regularly and easily, this is the best formula by far!
3 Stars Did better than the orange can.
My daughter was put on the orange goodstart at birth. But after going through several long nights, and her screaming bloody murder before she’d potty (she went two days without going potty), her doctor switched over to this formula. She never spit up and she burped much easier on this. She started pooping 2-3 times a day. Although it was still hard balls, she didn’t scream and it didn’t smell as bad. Her dr. said she’s still constipated and that is why her poop is so hard. So they have switched her yet again to the natural cultures in the green can. She’s only been on it for 24 hours and has already started showing gas signs and has been spitting up all evening. Not sure if she just needs time to adjust or what. I know with the blue soy she seemed to have been doing much much better.
Only thing I dont like about the soy formula is the greasy residue it leaves in the bottles. You have to let them soak in hot water in order to clean them properly.
